Warhammer Blood Bowl Announced

Nacon and Cyanide Studio have announced Warhammer Blood Bowl — a fresh entry set in the Warhammer universe that aims to hit stores this spring. If you've followed the series, expect some familiar chaos alongside rule tweaks.

The game uses the latest tabletop edition as its foundation. Matches will pit factions against each other — e.g., elves, orcs, dwarfs — and players can build and kit out squads to compete in online leagues. Team management matters here; choices are more than skin-deep.

At launch there will be 26 factions on offer, with Tomb Kings and Bretonnians joining the roster. The developers plan ongoing seasons and additional content, with organized competition running through the year and a world championship at the end (as announced).

Warhammer Blood Bowl arrives Spring 2026

Built on Blood Bowl 3 and using the latest tabletop rules, the game launches with:

  • 26 factions
  • Tomb Kings & Bretonnians
  • 🏆 Competitive seasons & World Championship

Try the Rumble demo on Steam from March 18–25 #Warhammer #BloodBowl

Expect revised rulesets, roster tuning, and new cups/tournaments. There's a tutorial track for newcomers and a new, quicker mode called Rumble: smaller squads, a tighter pitch, faster play — roughly 30 minutes per match — but still rough around the edges in tone and tactics.

Owners of Blood Bowl 3 will receive Warhammer Blood Bowl at no extra charge; previously bought items and unlocked content carry over.

You can play Warhammer Blood Bowl on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox, and PlayStation. If you want an early taste, the Rumble demo on PC runs March 18–25.
