Announced: Reigns: The Witcher — A Card Strategy Game Based on The Witcher
In Judas, the BioShock creator won't be able to "please everyone" — someone will inevitably become the antagonist
The publication Game Informer has published a lengthy feature on the upcoming game Judas, which resembles an interview more than anything. According to the assurances of the article's author and the game director himself, Ken Levine, the project will be the most non-linear in the veteran game developer's career.
Specifically, the team spent several years and immense effort to make NPCs react differently to the player's actions. Their attitude towards the protagonist can change radically throughout the entire playthrough.
Also, it will be impossible to complete Judas by pleasing all companions. No matter how the player tries to balance between the tasks of secondary characters, one of them will inevitably become the antagonist.
Levine and his colleagues are already eager to see which of the protagonist's companions will ultimately become the audience's favorite.
As for the current state of the game, the team is currently focused on reaching the next major milestone, and development is generally progressing well. However, Judas still doesn't have even an approximate release window. And, let us remind you, it is being developed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
