Nacon and the studio Spiders have released a trailer for GreedFall: The Dying World, introducing the game's main villain.
Meet Kurnaz: the leader of an imperialist faction within the Bridge Alliance, a charismatic and manipulative figure. He is portrayed by Neil Newbon (Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3), whom you can see in the new video.
Kurnaz comes from a humble background and suffers from a Napoleon complex, which drives him to believe in his own superiority. He possesses unwavering determination and always stays focused on his goals. The vocal performance for the character was inspired by actor Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series).
Newbon hopes that Kurnaz will prove to be a worthy adversary for players, and that defeating him will provide a fantastic sense of accomplishment.
By the way, in GreedFall: The Dying World, Newbon also voices another, secondary character — Ingo. He is described as "a somewhat cowardly, opportunistic, and humorous archetype of Falstaff from William Shakespeare's plays."
GreedFall: The Dying World (which has undergone a rebranding, dropping the '2') will leave Early Access on March 12 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
