Amazon has begun filming the third season of the fallout

Amazon staffers say they've begun production — the start of filming for the third season of the Fallout adaptation appeared first on their social feeds: begun production. Small, informal posts; not a studio press release.

Whispers in the press point to a summer 2027 premiere (see rumors), but take that as unconfirmed info — no official date, no plot beats yet. The creators are mostly hinting that familiar faces will return and that new characters will turn up, esp. in ways that change the dynamics rather than reset them.

Journalists have recently named several cast additions. Newcomers reported so far include:

  • Aaron Paul — Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad and Robert Robertson from Dispatch.
  • Manny Jacinto — Jason Mendoza from The Good Place and Billy Avalon from Top Gun: Maverick.
  • Emily Mortimer — Mary Brown from Paddington 3 and Jane Banks from Mary Poppins Returns.
  • Thomasin McKenzie — Elsa from Jojo Rabbit and Eloise from Last Night in Soho.

FYI, the show was already renewed for a third season about six months before season two premiered — an early green light that raised some eyebrows. Amazon isn't stopping there: it's also said to be working on a competitive reality show inspired by Fallout Shelter, which feels like a different direction for the same universe.
