Amazon chose its Max and Chloe for the Life Is Strange adaptation

Variety has named the lead actresses for Amazon and Square Enix’s Life Is Strange series — announced in Sept. 2025 — and Dontnod weren’t involved.

No — Emma Myers (“Wednesday”) didn’t get the part. The “sweet bun” has said she was ready, and fans pushed her name strongly.

Max will be played by Tatum Grace Hopkins (pictured above), a theatre actress with no TV credits (i.e., new to on‑screen work). Chloe goes to Maisie Stella (“Nashville”). Charlie Covell — known for The End of the F***ing World and Kaleidoscope — is running the show.
