Active Matter Shooter Receives Overtime PvP Raid Update and Important Game Fixes
In Active Matter, the overtime PvP raid has reopened for completion — this time in a single-player mode. The event is temporary, so players have a limited time to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of covert operations and test their skills in a new environment.
The essence of the mission remains thrilling and ambiguous: participants must step into the role of a converted soldier. They need to not only blend in among their own kind but also complete the assigned task and then evacuate safely.
If you enter the raid with your own gear but want to assume the appearance of a converted soldier, you'll have to find special artifacts. With their help, you can transform into an entity whose mind has already been consumed by the Multiverse. However, don't forget: among the converted, another impostor just like you could be hiding — vigilance is key here.
The developers have made a number of significant changes aimed at improving gameplay. For instance, evacuating the Robo-Dog to the shelter has been significantly simplified, and its extraction distance has been increased. Invisible enemies now behave differently: they no longer attack downed opponents, try to avoid headshots, and do not turn invisible immediately after spawning.
The description of the "Dam" raid finally features the Modest One — her icon is now displayed correctly. Radios of different colors, which are required to complete the task, are no longer considered junk and do not end up in the corresponding stack. Meanwhile, unusual radio parts (green) now yield more credits when recycled.
Some fixes touched on the interface and quality-of-life improvements. User markers on the compass are now displayed above extraction points, and their transparency fully matches the map settings. The modern 10× magnification binoculars have gained a new function: when recycled, they provide chrono-traces and affect blueprint progress.
The team also eliminated a number of annoying bugs. The availability of the "Dapper: Distortion" raid has been restored when it is in the rotation. An inaccuracy in the death cause description on a player's dog tag has been fixed if the death occurred from a buttstock strike. The issue causing replicated and regular items to be far apart in the inventory has been resolved. Additionally, the missing Modest One icon has finally been added to the "Dam" raid description.
Furthermore, the developers made several additional adjustments. The quest hint for taking a photo or placing a beacon is now unavailable while on a ladder. In the "Factory" raid, the number of healing items required for extraction has been reduced. The impact of the "Load Capacity" chronogen on movement speed penalty has also been decreased.
