Active Matter developers have released an update with fixes and talked about their work on cooperative raids The developers at Active Matter have released a new update aimed at improving gameplay and fixing accumulated bugs. The main changes affect Unstable Zone raids, the passive skill and chronogen systems, and a number of visual and gameplay details.
An important new feature has been added to Unstable Zone raids: if only one player remains alive and there are no active beacons, the portal now appears earlier, before the final collapse. This change is intended to make it easier to complete the mission in difficult situations when the team is almost defeated.
The update has fixed several annoying bugs that interfered with the comfortable gaming experience. First of all, when reconnecting to a raid, the effect of passive skills and chronogens is no longer doubled — a problem that has long bothered players has finally been solved. Also, the incorrect firing of shots when selecting an option in the radial menu with a gamepad has been fixed: now the interface works as it should, without unexpected consequences.
Changes have also been made to the visual component. The position of the flashlight on the chest of the Liquidator Body Sleeve costume has been adjusted, making the image more accurate. In the "Headquarters" raid, the durability of fences has been increased — now they can withstand more hits, which affects the tactics of passing.
The developers also paid attention to small but annoying details. For example, the magazine no longer falls to the ground when reloading is interrupted if there is free space in the inventory. Camera behavior after exiting drone mode has been normalized — now the transition is smooth, without jerks. A bug with saving the selected ribbon color has been fixed, and the work of first aid kits through quick use slots has been restored. In addition, problems with the playback of some animations in the lying position have been solved — now they are played correctly.
Of particular note is an important decision regarding cooperative mode. The team continues to improve the cooperative raid system, striving to make it as exciting as possible for all players. Since testing the new mechanics took longer than planned, the developers decided to extend unlimited access to cooperative raids for an indefinite period.
