Action Roguelike Dragon is Dead to Get Console Versions This Spring

Studio TeamSuneat has announced console versions of its bloody action roguelike Dragon is Dead. The game will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch this spring, specifically on April 23.

Dragon is Dead tells the story of an immortal dragon slayer whose goal is to save the world from a spreading corruption emanating from the dragon Gernian, who was believed to be dead. As they progress, players will journey through diverse locations, defeat deadly bosses, and gather resources to unlock new classes and craft legendary equipment.

The developers specifically highlight the hardcore Nightmare More mode with sixteen difficulty levels.

As of today, Dragon is Dead is only available on PC. The game launched in early access on Steam in the summer of 2024 and received its full release in June 2025. Over this time, it has garnered only about 700 "Mostly Positive" reviews — 76%. There is no Russian localization.
