A real battle tank will appear in the tactical rpg menace

The development studio Menace has revealed a new heavy ride for players — a battle tank. It lets you jump into large-scale clashes with something that feels, well, substantial.

For a while the team avoided that kind of mass: the game favored mobile units and special ops, and a full tank looked too slow and clunky. The stance shifted — the studio says the tank widens tactical choices and loosens constraints when you assemble an army. In Rogue Army lore it isn't a mere add-on; the vehicle sits between infantry and support, changing how encounters play out and forcing different responses.

This will be the heaviest drivable unit after the Rogue Army Heavy Tank: more armor and hp than the RMC IFV, at the price of lower kph and higher deployment cost. The turret layout stacks a heavy front slot with a light top slot — animators ended up implementing a rotating turret on a rotating turret, which proved to be a neat technical headache.

Stock configuration: an MG (medium) for infantry suppression and a long‑barreled cannon intended to engage vehicles at range.
