A new clip from the second season of Devil May Cry has appeared online. In it, Dante picks up his iconic semi-automatic pistols Ebony and Ivory for the first time, calling them the most thoughtful gift of his life.

Dante wouldn't be himself if he didn't immediately test out his new gear in the most epic way possible. So, the hunter twirls the guns and blasts several targets to pieces, performing acrobatic tricks along the way. All of this is watched by impressed onlookers: Lady and the engineer who created Ebony and Ivory.

The powerful pistols will clearly come in handy for the hero when he clashes with his brother. Their confrontation will be a central part of the continuation. The anime's creator, Adi Shankar, is eagerly awaiting Vergil's full integration into the plot. He even shared several frames from the second season, one of which shows the twins staring intensely at each other.

We will get to see Dante receiving Ebony and Ivory, fighting Vergil, and getting into trouble this spring. The release of the second season is scheduled for May 12, 2026.
