A lucky dice roll forced Vincke to slightly reveal the ending of the upcoming RPG Divinity

Following the triumph of Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios is returning to its roots—the Divinity universe—without abandoning its signature sense of humor, even in discussions about the finale of the upcoming game.

Studio founder Swen Vincke staged a humorous "intense interrogation" during a stream by rolling a d20 for a "Persuasion" check. The resulting roll of 19 obligated him to tell the truth. After a question about the ending, he dodged for a long time but promised to confirm fan theories if they turned out to be close.

In the end, Vincke agreed with most of the assumptions but also offered his own exclusive: the game will end with credits, its finale will depend on player decisions, and everything will conclude with "a very large amount of fire." The latter especially echoes the previously shown teaser.
