A fresh Path of Exile 2 trailer was dedicated to the Martial Arts Master from "Return of the Ancients"

Grinding Gear Games has dropped a new clip for Path of Exile 2 that zeroes in on the Martial Artist Master. This Ascendancy for the Monk arrives with the Return of the Ancients update. Rather than wielding an external weapon, this archetype turns the body itself into a tool of disruption — shockwaves, ruptures, and close-range chaos follow in its wake.

"Decades of training have turned the Martial Artist Master into a maker of illusions. Runes scored into his skin amplify those talents: he spawns convincing phantasms, summons spectral bells (e.g., to distract or disorient), and treats his own hands as instruments of damage."

The Return of the Ancients update will be released on May 29 at 23:00 on PC and consoles. Expect new classes (see plus the Spirit Walker), fresh story threads, 15 tough bosses — yes, fifteen — and a reworked Atlas skill tree. There’s also a batch of new unique items, various balance changes, and — well — much more to poke through if you like tinkering with builds.
