Bandai Namco announced that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has sold seven million copies worldwide. In January 2025, it was confirmed that the game had sold six million copies. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown takes place in 2019 after the start of the conflict between the Osea Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea, which led to the Second Continental War in Usea. Players take on the role of a fighter pilot codenamed "Trigger," who is accused of a crime he did not commit. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
