Krafton published its workforce figures: since the beginning of the year, 271 employees have left the company. The main trigger was a voluntary contract termination scheme offering compensation of up to 36 mos.; the program will cost approx. 40B won.

Departures were concentrated at the HQ and PUBG Studios — 158 people in total. Bluehole Studio lost 51 employees (about 25% of its staff). RisingWings saw 41 people go (over 40% of its team). Inzoi decreased by 13, leaving a retained core of 140. Dreamotion and 5minlab recorded three departures each.

One outlier: ReLU Games kept all 38 employees — it’s the studio focused on AI dev. The final tally came in lower than management’s earlier forecasts.
